Nizhny Novgorod State Medical University
Nizhny Novgorod State Medical University (NNSMA), formerly known as Privolzhsky Research Medical University, is a prominent medical education hub situated in one of the largest regions of the European part of Russia. Originally established as a faculty of Nizhny Novgorod University, the medical faculty was renamed the State Medical Academy in 1994. In 1992, the faculty of overseas admissions was established within NNSMA, and starting with the 1998–1999 academic year, the Academy began training international students in the English language. The university maintains close relationships with a number of international medical scientific research institutes, clinics, and medical centers to assist students in applying their acquired theoretical knowledge in real-world settings and uncovering the subtleties of their future.

Eligibility Criteria For Admission in Nizhny Novgorod State Medical University
1. Qualification in classes 10 and 12 from a recognized education board or institution is required.
2. Attainment of a minimum of 50% in class 12 with physics, chemistry, biology, or equivalent subjects is necessary.
3. The applicant should be 17 years old.
4. Successful qualification in the NEET-UG exam with the specified marks is mandatory.
5. For the general/EWS category, the required percentile is 50th.
6. PWD candidates should meet a 45th percentile threshold.
7. SC/ST/OBC category applicants must achieve a 40th percentile.
8. Possession of a valid NEET score card is a prerequisite.

Hostel
Students from all over the world come to Nizhny Novgorod State Medical Academy to live and study; therefore, proper security measures are ensured in the accommodations at Nizhny Novgorod State Medical Academy. All of the rooms are well ventilated, spacious, and furnished with beds, mattresses, pillows, blankets, etc. Students who want to rent rooms or flats in private apartments can also do so. Nizhny Novgorod State Medical Academy has five dormitories (hostels) for students. Each hostel has a canteen and cafe, with provisions for a kitchen and dining hall on each floor.
The academy offers a launching pad for athletes with sporting facilities like a sports complex, which includes a gymnasium, indoor football, badminton, tennis, volleyball, athletic stadiums, etc. Various social and cultural events are organized for foreign students. National and international associations of students are organized to unite students from different countries. The exceptionally well-endowed sports and health complex "Rhythm" is available for the benefit of students.

The electronic library system is a resource that includes both electronic versions of books by the leading educational literature publishers and electronic versions of periodicals. The electronic library system is open to PIMU employees and students and contains books (textbooks, teaching aids, monographs, lecture notes, etc.), periodicals, and articles on all branches of knowledge. More than 150 journals in biology and medicine, thematic collections of Health and Medical Sciences, Clinical Medicine and Life Sciences, and preventive medicine, as well as publishing
