About Iran University of Medical Sciences
The Iran University of Medical Sciences (IUMS) is a well-known public medical university in Iran. It was established in 1974 in Tehran, close to the Milad Tower, which is one of the tallest towers in the world. Since 1986, the university has been managed by the Ministry of Health and Medical Education. It is highly regarded in the country and the region for its academic and healthcare facilities.
IUMS has ten schools in Tehran, including Medicine, Nursing & Midwifery, Public Health, Health Management, Information Sciences, Mental Health & Behavioral Sciences, Rehabilitation Sciences, Advanced Technologies in Medicine, Allied Medical Sciences, and Medicine and Pharmacy in its International Campus. It also has two centers, two institutes, twenty-nine research centers, and a total of thirty-two hospitals.

Eligibility

Students have to set in the following eligibility criteria to get admission in MBBS:
- To apply for MBBS in Iran, an applicant must complete a 10+2 level or equivalent education.
- To be eligible for admission to medical universities in Iran, an applicant must have scored a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in 10+2.

- Step 2. Once the student gets the eligibility letter, Fill in the application form of the selected university.

- Step 5. Students need to undergo an online interview with the Faculty of Medicine.
