Bashkir State Medical University, located in Ufa, Russia, has a rich history dating back to its establishment in 1932. Originally starting with just one faculty, the General Medicine faculty, the university has since expanded to include several other faculties such as Pediatrics, Preventive Medicine and Microbiology, Dentistry, and Pharmacy. In 2010, the merger between Ufa Medical University and Bashkir State Medical University led to the formation of the current institution, known as Bashkir State Medical University.
