Khwaja Ali Yunus Medical College And Hospital

Established in 2005, Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College was founded to fulfill the revered saint's wish. The non-commercial, multidisciplinary hospital associated with the college boasts advanced facilities not yet available in other Bangladeshi hospitals. Located in Enayetpur, Sirajganj district, 147 km from Dhaka and 22.5 km from Jamuna Bridge, the college's teaching hospital is registered under the Society Act of the Government of Bangladesh.

Affiliated with Rajshahi University for MBBS degrees and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) for postgraduate degrees, the college follows the regulations of the Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council. Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College & Hospital conducts professional MBBS examinations for Rajshahi University.

Currently, the institution is running its teaching programs for the 19th batch of MBBS and the 5th batch of BDS students, adhering to the approved curriculum of the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council. The faculty, experienced in pre-clinical, para-clinical, and clinical disciplines, contributes to the educational process. Notably, it is the only private institution with an eco-friendly academic environment on a vast rural campus in the country. The college operates a 500-bed teaching hospital offering comprehensive medical services.

Eligibility Criteria to study MBBS at Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College and Hospital

Medical students must achieve the following basic prerequisites to get MBBS seats at Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College:

  • To pursue an MBBS degree in Bangladesh, the candidate's age must be 17 years old to be eligible.
  • The candidate must have completed a recognized board's 10+2 or upper secondary education.
  • The applicant's primary subjects in 10 + 2 must be chemistry, physics, and biology.
  • The candidate must have at least a 50 percent grade point average in the higher secondary test, or 10 + 2.

  • Upon receiving the student's application, the university will send a confirmation offer letter for Khwaja Yunus Ali Medical College admission.
  • There is no need to apply for an equivalent certificate at DGHS after receiving the offer letter; instead, submit the mark sheets and documents to the Bengal Deputy High Commission in Kolkata, along with a $60 payment, to obtain DGHS approval.
