Bashkir State Medical University

Bashkir State Medical University, located in Ufa, Russia, has a rich history dating back to its establishment in 1932. Originally starting with just one faculty, the General Medicine faculty, the university has since expanded to include several other faculties such as Pediatrics, Preventive Medicine and Microbiology, Dentistry, and Pharmacy. In 2010, the merger between Ufa Medical University and Bashkir State Medical University led to the formation of the current institution, known as Bashkir State Medical University.

One notable achievement of the university took place in 2014 when it played a crucial role in training approximately 700 volunteers for the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games. This event highlighted the university's commitment to both medical education and community engagement.

Presently, Bashkir State Medical University boasts a diverse student body, with over 8,000 students enrolled, including around 850 international students from various countries. The university offers a comprehensive range of programs, including 7,000 postgraduate programs, 1,000 clinical residences, and PhD programs. Additionally, the university houses a Medical University that provides specialized programs in Nursing and Prosthetic Dentistry.

Bashkir State Medical University Admission Process

  • Registration: First, the candidate has to fill the Bashkir State Medical University admission application form and submit the required documents to initiate a registration procedure.
  • Admission Confirmation: Once documents and verified and approved, an admission letter will be received within seven working days. The then-candidate has to submit original documents and within 15 days an approval from the ministry will be received with an Approval letter from Ministry, an Invitation letter issued by the university, and an accommodation letter. After this, the candidate must deposit tuition fees to Bashkir State Medical University’s bank account.
  • Visa Application: Once documents are received candidates must apply for the visa from the Russian embassy.
